CHIMAMANDA: FORBES AFRICA PERSON OF THE YEAR NOMINEE

Chimamanda: Forbes Africa Person of the Year nominee

Forbes Africa has nominated Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and world-renowned Nigerian writerChimamanda Ngozi Adichie for the 2014 Forbes Africa Person of the Year.

Chimamanda is known for writing the books ‘Half a Yellow Sun’ and ‘Americanah’, as well as for her TED Talk “We Should All Be Feminists”.

The other three finalists this year are Arunma Oteh (Nigeria) the director-general of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thuli Madonsela (South Africa) and Donald Kaberuka (Rwanda), President of the African Development Bank.
